Chris "Shockwave" Sullivan is an American actor and vocal percussionist. He is best known as being a regular cast member on the American children's public television show The Electric Company as Shock. [1] [2] His work on the show includes beatboxing. [1] [2] Sullivan was also a producer of the show. [2] He also beatboxed for the Broadway show Freestyle Love Supreme . [3]

Sullivan is from Foxborough, Massachusetts. [3] He was a communications major at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. [1] He was also an AmeriCorps volunteer in Boston. [1]

Foxboro Stadium, originally Schaefer Stadium and later Sullivan Stadium, was an outdoor stadium in the New England region of the United States, located in Foxborough, Massachusetts. It opened in 1971 and served as the home of the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL) for 31 seasons and also as the home venue for the New England Revolution of Major League Soccer (MLS) from 1996 to 2002. The stadium was the site of several games in both the 1994 FIFA World Cup and the 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup. Foxboro Stadium was demolished in 2002 and replaced by Gillette Stadium and the Patriot Place shopping center.

The Electric Company is an American television series on PBS Kids derived from the 1971 series of the same name. Produced by Sesame Workshop, who also produced the original, the series ran from January 19, 2009, to April 4, 2011, with reruns until August 31, 2014. A fourth season was planned, but the show was canceled before it went into production. The series aired reruns on HBO Kids on HBO Family from January 1, 2016, until November 1, 2020, as part of HBO's deal with Sesame Workshop. The series was sometimes referred to as The New Electric Company to distinguish it from the 1971–77 series.
